This book presents numerical methods in a very simple style. It was born from the author's experience teaching graduate classes at the University of Minnesota, and at Robert Morris University. Elementary algebra and imagination are the only two requirements to begin reading the book. The reader is taken from the very basics of linear systems all the way up to Brownian generators and artificial intelligence. It is a self-contained volume to avoid the need for a large collection of books. The book is a presentation of the author's selection of most useful modeling approaches combined with the simplest possible style and examples. It proves that one can achieve a gain without any pain.
