Samuel Hopkins Adams
Flaming Youth is a romance about a rich family and their friends in 1920's America. The family seems to be in moral decline as the mother is dying and her daughters are coming of age in the flapper era. Set in the "Jazz Age", it provides an intriguing look at the past and our passionate and sentimental ancestors. Considered very controversial in its time, the novel was adapted into the silent movie "Flaming Youth" in 1923. Written by Samuel Hopkins Adams, under the pseudonym "Warner Fabian".
