Students will quickly learn to distinguish the ending sounds of simple words by reading short sentences. Each student booklet is printed on a single piece of paper to save copies. Simply color in the pictures, cut out the "pages" and staple where indicated to create a mini reader that covers so many skills! Students will track words from left to right, practice letter/sound association, learn spelling, use small motor skills (coloring, cutting, etc.) and more!Each booklet follows the same pattern, making this activity perfect for whole class instruction, small group lessons, reading center practice or individual work. This title includes letters as well as some blends/digraphs. Ending sounds include: -a, -b, -ch, -ck, -d, -ee, -f -g, -k, -l, -m. -n, -o, -oo, -p, -r, -s, -sh, -t, -th, -w, -x -y (long "i" sound), -y (long "ee" sound).
