Many people might be aware of economic theories but are unaware of their application. The author believes that everyone should understand the economic impacts of different situations, and the importance of economics in everyday life. In this book, the author has taken many different real-life examples, such as: Brexit, Coronavirus, World War 1, Indian Rupee devaluation and, wrote about their economic impacts on society. He also spoke about how certain actions or different situations can affect the economy, both positively and negatively. An example is: globalisation. The positives he mentioned were: brings major economies together, encourages free trade, can lift 'less economically developed countries' out of poverty, can help people gain more knowledge about other countries and their cultures. The negatives were: environmental damage and overconsumption. The author then concluded that since there were more positives, globalisation overall was something good. Before writing this book, the author used to publish these blogs every week on Facebook, where they became immensely popular due to their lucid language and simplicity. This book is for everybody of any age.
