What does a vegan eat?

A vegan eats nothing that is of animal origin or derived from animals.

Vegetables and farm products: lettuce, chard, spinach, beets, asparagus, carrots, leeks, potatoes, sweet potatoes, artichokes, cauliflower, broccoli, eggplant, zucchini, peppers, tomatoes, mushrooms, onions, garlic...

Vegetables: beans, lentils, chickpeas, peas, broad beans, alfalfa, carob, mung beans, soya beans



Fruits and citrus: pear, apple, banana, mango, papaya, kiwi, melon, peach, pineapple, strawberries, apricot, berries, coconut grapes, orange, tangerine, lemon, lime, grapefruit...



Dried fruits: almonds, nuts, hazelnuts, pistachios, peanuts, cashews...



Seeds: chia, quinoa, pumpkin, sesame, flax...



Vegetable meats: tofu, seitan, tempeh, textured soybeans...



Remember that in any diet, in order to have a healthy diet it is advisable to avoid or limit the consumption of refined and processed products.
