The Green Mouse

The Green Mouse (1912) by Robert William Chambers (LARGE PRINT "8x10" EDITION) - EASY READING, easy on the eyes A man invents a machine based on the theory that psychic waves pulsate all over the world and if one is able to tap into these waves then one will immediately find his or her soul mate. This idea is ... interesting to say the least. The book has a quirky charm to it that you will very much enjoy it. The main character Destyn is a poor gentleman who meets his soul mate ( who luckily is very rich and falls in love with him) and together they form Green Mouse Limited in order to promote his psychic wave soul mate finder. What follows is a series of stories in which characters meet cute in a variety of increasingly odd ways, a man gets stuck in an elevator, a man follows a girl and helps her catch her escaped cat, and a girl gets accidentally glued to a table. There is never any suspense to the stories, never any question of whether the characters will get together or not but that hardly seems to matter. They fall in love so instantaneously and dramatically that it is amusing and very charming. Scroll Up and Grab Your Copy!
