This collection deals with a disparate cast of characters, all at pivotal points in their lives. For each one of them love, or rather its shady avatar sex, has certainly gone wrong. There are no bad humans but there are certainly bad actions. These are the culminations of complex series of accidents and imperatives - processes over which people have little control. We are evolving humans - and there's our problem. Whatever cultural, societal or religious taboos and mores people erect those pertaining to procreation are possibly the most pernicious. We simply haven't been able to come to terms with our prime drive - sexuality - in all its glorious, outrageous, violent, vile and sometimes cripplingly disabling forms. However ironic the title may appear this is a collection of love stories. Having intimately engaged with the characters, as they stumble through the chaos of emotions that constitute all our lives, I can honestly say that I developed a profound affection for each one of them. No matter how unprepossessing some may appear. I do not judge them and truly hope they find redemption. However, their futures are now entirely in your hands.
