Sense and Sensibility

Mrs. Dashwood, Elinor, Marianne and Margaret, are three sisters from Mr. Dashwood's second marriage. When he dies, he leaves the entire inheritance to the son from his first marriage. The Dashwoods stay a short time in what was their home, where they meet Edward Ferrars, brother-in-law of her stepbrother with whom Elinor falls in love. When they move to a house in the country, Marianne falls in love with John Willoughby, who lives near their new home. During her stay there she will learn to mature about the concepts of love.
