Women in Love (1920) is a novel by British author D. H. Lawrence. Sure, a sequel to his earlier novel The Rainbow (1915), shoes the continuing loves and lives of the Brangwen sisters, Gudrun and Ursula. Gudrun Brangwen, an artist, follows a destructive affiliation with Gerald Crich, an industrialist. Lawrence distinctions this pair with the love that grows between Ursula Brangwen and Rupert Birkin, an isolated intelligent who enunciates many opinions allied with the author. The sensitive relationships thus established are given additional depth and tension by an intense emotional and physical attraction among Gerald and Rupert. The novel assortments over the British culture before the time of the First World War and concludes in the snows of the Tyrolean Alps.
