In the small rural town of Chester, Georgia, the Baptist church, healing revivals, and church soccer reign supreme. However one of the church's own deacons has been preying upon young women, and may be responsible for the death of a young co-ed. He is able to outwit everyone due to his position in the church, and the case goes cold for over 24 years, until a skeleton is found. Hot-headed rookie Thomas Anderson is a fresh FBI graduate sent to work on the cold case, and would rather be anywhere else other than the place that reminds him of his past. A gruffly seasoned Detective Carheart connects with him to help solve the case, yet the two find little information to go on. Agent Anderson wants nothing more than to solve the case quickly to head back to Washington, D. C., so he can be assigned a "real" case. However, the longer he stays in town the more things begin to happen. Young and beautiful Sergeant Chrissy Zenni has been assigned to the team as Agent Anderson's assistant, and she has caught his eye. Will she be able to help solve the crime, or will she get in the way?As members of the team form an unlikely friendship, they realize Agent Anderson's past may hold the key to solving a decades old crime. Quickly, the case heats up for the team as more young co-eds are kidnapped. Could a crime from the past be related to these? Agent Anderson's burden of a simple case becomes a race against the clock to save more victims. Will the team be able to save them in time?
