When Greg meets Margaret at the War Angels MC bar he thinks he's met the woman of his dreams. When he finds out she's a Canadian Armed Forces veteran he believes she's the bravest woman he's ever met. When he finds out she has a prosthetic because she lost her leg fighting for her country he knows she's the woman for him. When he finds out she can't have kids because of her injury he doesn't worry about it, she's the woman he wants and there are other ways to have kids. But when Margaret can't get over the fact that she can't give Greg the thing he wants most in life, she decided she needs to leave so he can move on. The only problem is that Greg does move on, with a woman that reminds him of Margaret even if he didn't realize it at first. When Eleanor becomes pregnant with Greg's child she decides not to tell him all of her secrets, like she will most likely die giving birth to their child. When Margaret comes back to town to help raise her niece and nephew who are now being raised by the man she loves can they find the peace they need to forgive and move on? Or will they forever hold each other at arms-length?
