Treasure Island
Robert Louis Stevenson
An old sailor named Billy Bones came to stay at the Admiral B Hotel in Channel Village, Bristol, England. He told the hotelier's son Jim Hawkins to beware of "one-legged travelers." A former shipmate, Black Dog, faced the bones and fought fiercely with him. After the black dog escaped, a blind beggar named Pew visited him and gave Burns a "black dot" as a subpoena to share a map leading to the buried treasure. Shortly thereafter, he suffered a stroke and died. Pew and his accomplices attacked the hotel, but Jim and his mother took some money and a mysterious package from a box by the Bones. Also saved myself. Pew was subsequently trampled to death by a consumption tax officer. Jim and his mother found a map of the island in the packet, and the notorious pirate Captain Flint hid his treasure. Jim showed the map to local doctor Dr. Livesey and squire John Trelawney. They decided to explore the island with the flight attendant Jim.
