Delilah Robinson has always been into some kind of trouble. Growing up on the Res she was known as Delilah Running-Wind, a fitting name considering most folks didn't know when she was coming or going. And Delilah took pride in that. With an omen that promised a short life hanging over her head, she'd blown into Hollywood like a hurricane at just seventeen, determined to take life by the teeth. Too little too late she learned that there were horrors worse than death from men too rich and too cruel to care about others. But her story wasn't over. It was just beginning. Gorgeous on the outside but scarred within, Delilah learns to breathe again, and grab hold to a spark of life the moment she saw one-woman triumph above all odds. So, when a man with the kindest eyes she'd ever seen promised her a new life with a fresh start, despite her distrust of all men, she'd have been a fool not to jump at the opportunity.
