Ever met a cancer patient? Or have you seen or known any one in particular that has suffered from cancer. If you have, then you certainly have an idea of how hard it is for anyone to go through this. The pain these patients experience is not one as relatable as that you get when you have a headache, because not everyone has experienced cancer. Even some that have experienced it in its milder forms have probably experienced the condition in a different part of their body. How can we be of help when we may still think they are exaggerating their pain?It is now obvious that more than ever, especially with the increasing tendencies for people to develop cancers, we need an enlightenment on the kind of support a cancer patient needs in every area; while it is financial for some, what others need is simply all the emotional support they can get. As cancers differ, the need of each patient is also different. This book highlights the needs of cancer patients and the kind of attention we can give to really help them in a world where they probably feel alone because no one can exactly relate to their peculiar experience.
