Rainbow Medicine Eagle
There comes a point in every society when people must take control of their own freedom. Sometimes we need to co-create Zion in Babylon, so to speak. Governments are necessary evils and aren't going anywhere soon. Bless you if you want to play the political game, vote, pledge allegiance to some geographically defined flag, and defend your philosophy. But what can one individual do to be as free as possible beyond that? First, we can declare our freedom and be free, declaring our allegiance to freedom itself, rather than just some nationalistic version of it. Passports, paying taxes, obeying the law, and many things may be necessary to pragmatically live freely, but there is another way, the Rainbow way. All people can participate with a nation of free people. All people are free under the rainbow flag, whatever skin tone, culture, religion, creed, personal or tribal identity; That is, all people who are sincerely committed to a cooperative peace and good will, a sharing of wisdom, effort, and resource. These are the people of a Rainbow Nation. It doesn't matter your nationality, if you are committed to freedom and cooperation, kindness, tolerance and care, then you are part of the Rainbow way. This writing entitled For a Rainbow Nation follows a previous novel called Letter to My Grandchildren. In that fictional account, the United States was ravaged by natural disasters, pandemics, economics stress, and governmental failure to actually help the people. The love and peace-based folks took to the national forests and gathered in more permanent occupations called Rainbow Villages. At one unified national Rainbow Gathering, the people declared their freedom through a Declaration of Interdependence and committed to the Covenant Chain for a Rainbow Nation. At that point, the Feds come in and gathered up all those Rainbow people who signed that declaration and charged them with treason. The Grandfather was able to escape from the prison camps to travel underground eventually to an undisclosed place in Asia called 'Shamballa'. Here he witnessed the teachings from masters called the Beacons of the Seven Rays. Each Beacon was especially a master in one of the seven illumination qualities of Intelligence. The Grandfather relates each Beacon's vision for the full spectrum of humanity's seven rays of intelligence potentially manifesting over the next one hundred years. The Grandfather was asked by the Beacons to write a letter to his grandchildren (symbolic of all those he cared for) detailing, as profoundly as possible, his particular spiritual growth into wisdom. That was documented in the previous book, Letter to My Grandchildren. That novel included the Declaration of Interdependence for a Rainbow Nation, the Covenant Chain for a Rainbow Nation. The Grandfather's second assignment was to write as deeply as possible, his insights into freedom. That writing is called the Freedom Sutras; His third assignment was to write about the gathering of the Beacons of the Seven Rays in Shamballa. It was not about the events in Shamballa, but about each Beacons' insights for the next one hundred years. This was a once in a hundred-year opportunity. For a Rainbow Nation includes the Declaration of Interdependence for a Rainbow Nation, the Covenant Chain for a Rainbow Nation, the Beacons of the Seven Rays, the Freedom Sutras and A Way Towards Political Freedom. Imagine what would happen if we all declared our freedom and worked together interdependently with good will and strong effort to actually get along. Imagine a Rainbow Nation of all good people, interdependent, living and loving freely, despite, sometimes, what nation their passport says they are from. This book gives a strong, clear vision For a Rainbow Nation of all peoples from all tribes and all nations.
