The Strokes - The New Abnormal

The Strokes are one of the new millennium's most influential indie rock bands. The band has been somewhat on standby for the past 7 years, while frontman Julian Casablancas has been active in a new band constellation with The Voidz.

But now Julian is back in his original band again, apparently with renewed strength and vitality. The first two singles from the new album, The New Abnormal, at least testify to a band that has found a creative vein with a banger-level from its former glory days. First came the catchy synth ballad "At The Door", which was later followed up by the indie-rock banger "Bad Decisions", which hits right in and removes the heavy Strokes-longing that many fans have suffered from for several years.
