‘Cutthroat’ shows Shame at their most uncompromising; an unfiltered new album created with Grammy-winning producer John Congleton at the helm. It’s an album about cowards, about hypocrites, about c*unts as frontman Charlie Steen puts it.. And there are plenty of those around right now.

Still in their twenties, the band members - childhood friends Charlie Steen, guitarists Sean Coyle-Smith and Eddie Green, bassist Josh Finerty, and drummer Charlie Forbes - have already proven their worth with numerous explosive live shows and three critically acclaimed albums. But rather than building upon their established post-punk revival roots, ‘Cutthroat’ sets out to create an entirely new Ground Zero.
