Starring David Mitchell as William Shakespeare, the show follows the struggles of the Bard's early career and his domestic life split between London and Stratford-upon-Avon. In 'A Christmas Crow' Will is busy preparing his new play 'Eighth Night' for a royal performance, while his hopes for enjoying a quiet family Christmas are dashed by the arrival of Marlowe (Tim Downie), Kate (Gemma Whelan) and Greene (Mark Heap).

In 'A Crow Christmas Carol' Will is visited by a mysterious stranger who encourages him to help Greene.
