Basil Dearden directs this 1950s British drama starring John Mills, Dirk Bogarde and Elizabeth Sellars. During the Second World War, Irish brothers Terence and Matt Sullivan (Mills and Bogarde) arrive in London to launch an IRA bombing campaign, but Terry begins to have doubts about their mission when they are asked to free two of their captured comrades.
