Christian Duguay directs this Italian-language take on the popular fairy tale 'Cinderella'. Set in Rome, the story follows Aurora (Vanessa Hessler), the gifted daughter of a famous conductor. When her father dies and Aurora is unable to claim her inheritance until she turns 21, her stepmother Irene (Natalia Wörner) takes over responsibility for the family home and forces Aurora to perform menial tasks around the house.
