First series of the documentary show following architect George Clarke as he journeys across the British Isles to help with various restoration and conversion projects on old, disused buildings. While taking a look at the history of these structures, which include a church, a windmill, military towers and a medieval house, George assists their owners with the challenges they face as they attempt to transform the buildings into new homes.
