From Take Five to My Foolish Heart, Urban Standards is a collection of my favorite Jazz Standards as well as my favorite composers: Duke, Garner, Gershwin, Rodgers and Heart, that's as good as it gets. I foud a stellar group of musicians to work with. Kevin Flournoy - keys, C.C. Thomas - bass and Tony Moore on drum programming. The idea was not to do just another Jazz Standard CD, instead to find a new way of arranging and producing the material.
