ABOUT THE COMPOSER: Respected in the entertainment industry for his music and recordings, Daniel Thompson is the winner of Best Original Musical at Final Cut Film Festival for 2001. He has also received national recognition for his musical composition The Seer. Thompson has composed and arranged music for several theatrical productions, including Nunsense, Macbeth, Hamlet, and King Lear. He has also composed music for numerous corporations including Coldwell Banker, Sorenson Media, and Synergy Worldwide. In 1996, Thompson was backed by a 50 piece orchestra as he performed several pieces of his music in concert. His music has also played on the radio, television and internet. Daniel Thompson was born in Utah and has lived there the majority of his life. He spent two years living in Romania, where he received much of his inspiration for his album After The Rain. He attended Brigham Young University where he obtained his Bachelor's Degree in Music and Sound Recording. His musical abilities range from playing the piano, drums, percussion, and little guitar to composing, arranging, recording and producing.
