Dan Green singer- songwriter Biography Personal Dan's grandfathers, mainly ranchers, all played guitar, banjo and mandolin - and were Dan's influence for picking up the guitar at age 12 and started performing folk songs at 13 to sometimes large audiences. Dan diversified in high school played rock, soul, blues and jazz, but while in college returned to his folk and country roots and played as a solo act for both small audiences and in large auditoriums. After school Dan continued to perform in bars and restaurants doing cover songs of the main folk and country artists - as well as developing his own original songs. Dan now performs as both a solo act and with his band depending on the venue and audience.
