Land of No Mondays Jim Morris

Sunday evenings used to be depressing because I had to either return to school or return to work the next day. I always thought that Sunday was a good party day, and Monday sure interfered with my fun. When I started playing music for a living, this problem disappeared. I felt like I did when I got out of school for summer vacation. I became a resident of the Land of No Mondays. Land of No Mondays is a metaphor for freedom. Not everyone wants this kind of freedom or can handle this kind of freedom. That's OK. We need structure in our society for those who need it and to supply goods and services for those who don't. The residents of the Land of No Mondays do not require much outside stimulus. They are independent, laid back, and pretty damned happy. For those of you who can handle the residency requirements, get your passport, and I will see you on the water, on the beach, or in a hammock beneath a palm tree.
