Name; Tom King - Born; 19/12/1951 - Height; 5ft 7ins - First Guitar; Futurama 1 - Location Born; Kings Lynn, Norfolk, England. Father's Name; Thomas John King Snr; - Nationality; Welsh. Mother's Name; Laura Olive Nancy Rodwell - Nationality; English. History; Started playing guitar early, maybe,12 or 13 years old. Played with a few local bands doing local gigs, weddings, pubs, village halls. Progressed to playing local American Air Force bases and English RAF bases. This took me playing around the UK, eventually playing gigs in Europe, then in 1971 played in Morocco for 2 months at a USA military base, and returned a year later for another stint of 2 months. Then it was time to move to London, met and played with various musicians, stayed 30 yrs and semi-retired from the music scene. After about 10 years. Became a bedroom performer singing / playing / writing for me, mostly. The Lord moved on me a few years ago,and the album 'Salt & Light' is the result. It was recorded on my home porta-studio and finished off in my good friend Mervyn Futter's studio. I would like here to thank Mervyn (mate, I can never thank you enough) without you, chances are this album would never have gone public. I do not know at this point if there is another album (it took 4 years to do this one!) I suppose it depends whether people like what I am doing!! But I do keep getting ideas for songs..
