In 2020, the Wacky Jugs celebrate 10 years of Rural Blues with a 10 track opus. The very original trio, mandolin, harmonica and double-bass, upgrade to an even more original quintet by inviting the rock drummer, Rowen Berrou, and the accordion player, Joseph Detailleur. Once again, they are paying a tribute to the Blues from before the invention of electric guitar. A tribute to antique tunes from the prohibition such as the Memphis Jugband, or Gus Canon, but also stars of country blues like Leadbelly and Sleepy John Estes.

In a mix of old fashion and modern instrumentation, they remind us that blues isn't just swing and shuffle, but also the New Orleans Jive and Zydeco music. A surprising and fresh approach, aiming to put blues back on the dance floor where it allways belonged.
