Melinda Balogh's first solo album features folk music from the Transylvanian gipsies, featuring Transylvanian and Hungarian folk musicians. The musical material has been selected from six regions: Kovar (Baia Mare), Upper Mures (Vojvodina), Kalotaszeg (Mera), Szilagysag (Szilagynagyfalu), East Mezoseg (Nagysar) and Vizmellek (Csavas). The album is intended to commemorate Gypsy musicians and singers who have generously shared their long-standing knowledge with youngsters eager to learn about the dance house movement. The music editor of the album is Laszlo Kelemen, director of the House of Traditions.
