Though many tracks are co-written with Alex Turner, former Rascals lead-singer Miles Kane's solo debut bears scant comparison to the duo's more grandiose work as The Last Shadow Puppets. It's not very often happening, a debut release where all the songs are nearly as good as each other, not a single weak track on it and still each song very different to the rest. 'Color Of The Trap' is filled with catchy, guitar-driven, feel-good songs with a deliberate retro 1960s feel. Highlights are the singles "Come Closer", "Inhaler" and "Rearrange" and album favorites are "Take The Night From Me", "Quicksand" and "My Fantasy" (which features Noel Gallagher).
