Wake Me When It's Over is the second album by Faster Pussycat, and was released in 1989. On this album the sleazy Hollywood band (whose name was lifted from a Russ Meyer flick) moved away from the glam metal of their first album to a more blues-influenced sound. It contains the power ballad ""House of Pain"", which was the bands first commercially big hit, the music video was directed by future film director Michael Bay. The album peaked at No. 48 on the Billboard 200 and the single ""House of Pain"" reached No. 28 on the Billboard Hot 100 Wake Me When It's Over is available as a numbered limited edition of 1000 copies on gold coloured vinyl and contains an insert.
