The Danish progressive metal band DEADNATE are releasing their second album, ‘MOSAIC’ – an uncompromising and honest work rooted in lived experience and musical vision.

On the album, DEADNATE develop their sound in a direction that is both simple and complex, whilst the themes revolve around personal introspection and reflections on our place in the world.

The album is a testament to a band that explores the potential nuances of musical expression, keeping the listener in a firm grip. The extremes are amplified across the ten new tracks, where the progressive and complex elements are at times taken even further, whilst the simple, direct and catchy aspects are also given scope. The entire toolbox is put to use, featuring brutal riffing, melodic flair and complex rhythms. It all comes together with focused songwriting, held together by the alternating dual vocals that are DEADNATE’s defining feature.

DEADNATE is a progressive metal band from Fredericia comprising two lead singers and guitarists (Kenneth Kejlstrup and Simon Juul), a bassist (Frederik Fammé) and a drummer (Ole Frank).

The music and the band’s approach are inspired by bands such as Gojira and Mastodon. They seek continuous development in their expression towards a unique soundscape.
