The new Leena is by Toronto-based Sean Miller - an artist who’s previously released on some of the leading dance music labels of today: Steve Lawler’s Viva Music, Satoshi Tommie’s Saw Recordings, Audiofly’s Supernature, Nic Fanciulli’s Saved Records, 2000andOne’s Area Remote and various collaborations with renowned artists. Miller has built a strong and vibrant DJ/Producer career over the past ten years, which his new EP ‘C’Mon That’s It’ on Leena stands testament to with it’s well honed production style and creative flare. The title track is certainly one to wake you and put a rocket up the dance floor’s ass. Just as H. O. S. H. brought ‘Tour De Fonque’ to Leena last month, this is also packed with funk and grooving loops, and it’s clear what it’s asking : ‘C’Mon That´s It!’. ‘Keep The Funk Alive’ is similarly a high energy affair, whilst ‘Easy Come Easy Go’ is for the calm after the storm with a slower, more peaceful grooves and synths. Leena was heating up before, but Sean Miller has just set it alight!
