Eaten by the Gods

The sweeping saga of an island torn in half by ancient hostility and outside influences, Eaten by the Gods intertwines the branches of two Irish families facing The Trouble, from the heartless greed of the Potato Famine in the 1800s when a million fled to the Colonies and a million starved at home, to the terrorism between Northern Ireland and the Republic in the twentieth century. Sean Coole, a Protestant pacifist from Belfast, and Kitty Conover, an Irish Republican Army Catholic from Dublin, love their divided land and each other with equal passion.
