In his late thirties, Charles Rain a Greek man, reminiscing about his life; narrates his story. He takes us through a stimulating journey, from his birth to maturity. Living with his parents and younger sister Ciara in Athens, Charles is a curious, inquisitive boy who looks under every stone and reads every phrase no matter, if written on a wall or on some random piece paper to gain wisdom. He owns a small territory, a tree near his house where he buries his treasures. Growing up, he proves to be a protective brother and a loving son. He manages to make a few friends, yet his intelligence and sense of humor makes him popular among school mates. With his charm and helping nature he attracts many girls but, due to his perfectionist-aesthetic nature, he barely goes after them. He finds his role-model in his professor, who teaches him some important life lessons. For a short period of time he stays in Italy. Despite having a huge interest in philosophy, Charles becomes a very passionate and driven gynecologist; He meets his first love at his work-place, a cardiac surgeon, a Greek lady with French descent. As soon as, she reveals her magnate side, his unworldliness takes him to a small cottage for living in the town of Aegina. Where he meets Indra, an Indian tourist; unraveling several myths the two shards of the same soul, share their long-harbored pains and secret desires with each other. Before leaving, Indra writes him a letter.
