Detective Mayur Varma decides to investigate the murder of a college professor, Rithika Menon, after inspector Prakash Malhotra requests an inquest on behalf of his close friend's daughter.

Mayur finds that Rithika was responsible for the job suspension of her colleague, Kennith Gonsalves because of his sexual harassment. He also discovers that Rithika's brother-in-law and his girlfriend stole Rithika's diamond necklace and are most likely conspired to kill her along with their servants. Mayur along with his junior assistant Aisha Mishra takes the help of Rithika's husband Sampath Menon to unravel the murder mystery only to learn that the mystery is deeper than he initially has thought.
