Grady Pruunes' hard work and dedication to bring a murderer to justice, is rewarded when he is promoted to the office of Cypress County Detective. The promotion is complete with pay increase and vacation, but little does he know the challenges that lie ahead. A small Southern county should not normally encounter a UFO and a missing girl in the first week. Then comes a hit and run that takes a young boy's life, and the hunt for a most wanted fugitive. Grady is fortunate to have help from young Jamey Hart and his ghost friend, Miss Lucy.
