It seems like an ordinary little street, full of ordinary people living ordinary lives, but strange things seem to happen in The Avenue, unusual occurrences that are hard to explain: heads float around without bodies attached, riots break out in supermarkets and pensioners spontaneously break into songs about tomatoes and dance through the streets. Amid all this chaos live Rose and Reggie Wilde. Rose may be looking for a quiet, uneventful life, but surrounded by her dim husband, her manipulative sister, a retired doctor turned paranormal expert and a lodger who is haunted by demons, she's living in the wrong street!
