Content Analysis of ?disability Communication? in Newspaper Dailies: a Short-term Study of Disability Communication Content in Newspaper Dailies Published from Mumbai

In this book I have endeavoured to show how we can plan a comparative study of the the content analysis of few newspaper dailies. This has the power to increase the significance of research process using content analysis and comparison. I have made in this book an attempt to study and compare the 'disability communication' as available in four great dailies, published from Mumbai. Among the English dailies, The Times of India, The Indian Express, The Hindustan Times and The DNA (Daily News Analysis) are four major English daily newspapers published from Mumbai and in several metros in India. Circulation figures indicate that Times of India is the highest, with 2 million readerships. Indian Express has the largest number of editions in India. Hindustan Times has the single largest edition from New Delhi and DNA (Daily News Analysis) is the Mumbai's fastest growing newspaper. Hence all these four dailies were selected for the research study. This book will benefit the students and professionals in the field of Journalism, Media Management and those dealing with Persons with Disabilities for creating awareness on disability issues.
