In this book Dr Anka examined the trend analysis of poverty situation in sindh by knowing the extent Poverty and inequality and identifying the correlates and other socioeconomic characteristics among the people of sanghar and badin districts. The study also evaluated the activities of NGOs in the delivery of microcredit as an important ingredient of poverty alleviation programmes. Over the years, Pakistan?s Progress towards achieving millennium development goals, in respect of poverty alleviation among the rural population has been slow. This study examined these constraints and other current issues responsible for slow delivery of poverty alleviation programmes in sindh.
