CATAWBA COUSINS SERIES is a ten book collection of fifty years worth of short stories, true stories, poems, songs, and slightly warped nursery rhymes written by Maw Maw D for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Many of the stories revolve around their Native American heritage. The cousins are members of the Catawba Indian Nation located in South Carolina.
Book One: I WANT TO DRUM I WANT TO DANCE was written when Maw Maw D's great grandchildren became interested in their Native American heritage of drumming and dancing. Book one contains three original songs written by Maw Maw D. The first, Yahweh, was received in a dream on 10-10-10. The book also contains Native American Words of Wisdom.
