CATAWBA COUSINS SERIES is a collection of fifty years worth of short stories, true stories, poems, songs, and slightly warped and occasionally splintered nursery rhymes written by Maw Maw D for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Some of the stories revolve around their Native American heritage. The cousins are members of the Catawba Indian Nation located in South Carolina. Each book contains a Native American Word of Wisdom.

Book 5: MAW MAW D'S SLIGHTLY WARPED AND OCCASIONALLY SPLINTERED NURSERY RHYMES. What can I say? When you don't own a book of nursery rhymes, you improvise. And my 'tribe' has never been satisfied with normal. I admit, they helped me destroy traditional nursery rhymes. For that I apologize in advance. I will warn you, several teachers, at least one each generation, didn't approve of the results. But the kids loved the Big Fuzzy Spider and the sooty, footy, foot prints from Mary's Little Lamb's alter ego aka Frankie's Little Goat.
