The album was originally released in 1960 and recorded at Rudy Van Gelder's legendary studio in New Jersey. Featuring Red Garland (piano), Eddie "Lockjaw" Davis (tenor saxophone), Sam Jones (bass) and Art Taylor (drums).

This reissue from Acoustic Sounds features a complete analog remastering and is pressed on 180-gram vinyl, packaged in an exclusive Tip-On jacket.
